Glock G22 40 S&W 4.49in Black Pistol - 10+1 Rotation - The Glock G22 is used by police agencies across the US and trusted by others around the world for this S&W 40 caliber pistol. I bought a G23 Gen 3 from a few of them. months ago and it has been my favorite gun for a long time, and I own many guns. I also do a 9mm conversion barrel for it, so I can shoot 40 s&w or 9mm out of it, and it's a perfect gun to carry or use as a range toy. If you are considering a G19, I would consider going with the G23 and a modified barrel. This gun can be converted to shoot 4 different calibers (available in 40 s & w, you can get a 9mm or .357 barrel conversion, and you can also get a .22lr conversion kit for it). Great gun all around! Highly recommend this weapon.

I prefer the grips on the Gen 4 to the Gen 3. It feels a little more secure in the hand. The 23 size is perfect for going forward, but is substantial enough to reverse and provide a far-sighted picture. I also like the Idea of a Sig .357 barrel conversion. In my opinion you can't beat a Glock.
I used to wear gloves. They were guns and stiff guns that didn't fit in my hand at all. Recently my wife wanted one we went to the store and she was looking for a dealer who put the gen 4 in my hand and it's like a glove. After some research I found out that they modeled the gen 4 after the 1911 handle which I love the 1911s, but I also love how much I can customize the glock. So the 23 gen 4 will most likely be the last handgun I ever buy until it is destroyed.
First Glock I ever owned and was my number 1 gun for fighting. Fast, smooth and reliable. I have several different Semi Autos from different manufacturers and this is the best I have shot. Going normally with a spring kit and barrel but even out of the box I'm getting the usual 5 groups at 9-12 yards. Thank you.
I bought a Gen 3 a few years ago. I still love guns to this day. I would like to get a Gen 4 one day, but I don't feel the need to do so yet. I would love to have it for off duty living when I was in law enforcement. It's not too bulky and still has a decent amount of torque. I would recommend it to pretty much anyone who wants to live in privacy.

Tried the Glock 23 and immediately fell in love, great gun and different feel. You'd expect more fine tuning but it's modest for the caliber, it's a great gun. This is not my first Glock, I have had a G17, G19, G23, G30SF and G45 but my G23 feels different.
I love the Glock shop. Very informative video, and great service. I didn't buy my gun here. I am 12 miles from Buds gun shop in Lexington, KY. This was my first and only gun. I bought it and it didn't shoot for 2 plus years. shame on me, then I retired and met my new friend. I changed the spring, this made a big difference. This Glock 23 is gen 4. I put a large XS logo sight on it. Now this I love, very fast on target. Bam it and it's there. I put a blacklist barrel on it and a johnny glock trigger. I'm thirsty, this shows when I go somewhere. There is a book called Navy Seal Shooting, Chris Sajnog. I have learned so much, about how to draw. chris sajnog is a famous gun instructor. Money well spent. You can't go wrong with this Glock 23. I bought a Glock 31 that is a Sig 357 caliber with a magazine. I bought 2 more Sig 357 magazines from the Gun dealer but the dealer said they couldn't find the magazines so to make a long story short he went out and bought me (2) 40 standard magazines and convinced me that they will work for the 357 guns. Then I bought a 40 caliber ACP barrel. So now I have a Sig 357 pistol and a 40 caliber ACP pistol with 3 magazines. Then I bought a 9mm barrel conversion and (3) 9 mm magazines from buying a gun and a few extras I now have guns through different levels. Glock LAW!!!!!! Then I'm getting a 22LR conversion.

I bought my Glock 23 40 cal from a dealer in Tulsa, Oklahoma about 20 years ago! This gun has never failed me. This is the best weapon I have had the pleasure of owning. The Glock 23 comes with three dot sights (one in the front, two in the back). As a blunt gun, the stock sights do the job well, but I would definitely recommend getting some aftermarket sights, especially if you plan to be able to use the weapon in low light situations.
Glock has a well deserved reputation for making guns that you can rely on for a lifetime and the Glock 23 is no exception. The gun will shoot basically anything you put it into without any complaints.
While using the weapon, there was no inaccuracy whatsoever. That seems to be in line with all the other Glocks I've owned and used over the years, so I'm not surprised.

One thing I'm concerned about is how the caliber could increase wear on the gun compared to the 9mm of the Glock 19. In any case, time will tell, and so far Glock guns have stood the test of time.
As previously mentioned, the Glock 23 is physically identical to the Glock 19, which has the same dimensions and empty weight.
Like the Glock 19, then, the G23 is big enough to handle well, with a comfortable 4-inch barrel. The sights are easy to line up, and the gun's slim, no-nonsense design makes it easy to grip and handle.
The Glock 23 has a trigger safety system, which requires a full stop to lower the trigger. It does not include a manual safety, which is part of its design as a defensive weapon.
